1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.2050playbook.com, its online courses, admissions facilitation, and recruitment-related services (collectively, “Services”).
By using the website, registering for a course, or availing any service, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and relevant e-commerce and data protection rules.
2. Nature of Services
The 2050 Playbook operates as a Future Skills and Academic Accelerator, offering:
Online Courses & Workshops: Short-term digital programs (typically ₹99–₹300) in domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Financial Literacy, and Future Skills.
Admissions Facilitation: Guidance and support for college and university admissions in collaboration with verified educational institutions. We may receive a commission from institutions for successful admissions.
Recruitment Support: Coordination with recruitment firms and companies to assist in job or internship placements. We do not charge candidates any service fee from our end.
We act solely as a facilitator, providing educational, advisory, and connection-based services. We do not guarantee admissions, scholarships, or employment outcomes.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 13 years of age to use the website.
For users under 18, parental or guardian consent is mandatory.
By registering, you confirm that all information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete.
4. Course Fees and Payments
All course fees will be displayed on our website/landing page and are payable online through our authorized payment gateways.
Fees are non-refundable once paid, except where required by Indian consumer protection laws or in the rare case of technical failure (e.g., duplicate payment).
All payments shall be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
Prices are inclusive of applicable GST, where applicable, as per Government of India regulations.
Payment information is handled by third-party payment processors under secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
5. No Refund Policy
Courses: Once a user purchases access to a digital course, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Users are responsible for ensuring compatibility and accuracy before purchase.
Admissions: We assist in connecting students with educational institutions but do not charge them directly for the service. Any tuition or processing fee paid to a college or partner institution is governed solely by that institution’s refund policy. We are not responsible for refunds if a student withdraws, defers, or is rejected.
Recruitment: We do not charge candidates any fee for placement or job-related facilitation. Companies or partner recruiters may pay us commissions upon successful hiring. Refunds or job continuity issues are outside our scope.
Force Majeure: Refunds are not applicable due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, internet outages, regulatory delays).
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, videos, graphics, text, and branding available on The 2050 Playbook platform are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India).
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal learning use only. Reproduction, distribution, or resale is strictly prohibited and may invite legal action.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws and global privacy standards. Our detailed data-handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
By using our website or services, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data in accordance with that policy.
8. Third-Party Relationships
We collaborate with educational institutions, recruiters, and industry partners to provide services.
Any dispute, fee refund, or cancellation involving these third parties is governed by their respective policies.
The 2050 Playbook is not liable for the conduct, terms, or policies of these third-party entities.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:
The 2050 Playbook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services.
We do not guarantee admission, scholarship, job offer, or placement through our platform.
Our maximum aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount you paid directly to us for the service in question.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The 2050 Playbook, its founders, team members, affiliates, and partners from any claim, damage, or expense arising from:
Your use of our website or services,
Any breach of these Terms, or
Violation of laws or third-party rights.
11. User Conduct
Users must:
Provide accurate information and not impersonate others,
Use the website for lawful purposes only,
Refrain from copying, scraping, or distributing content, and
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
Violation of these conditions may lead to account suspension and legal action under the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008.
12. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any course, service, or pricing at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website after changes implies acceptance.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, unless otherwise required by law.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for non-performance or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, technical failures, or civil unrest.
15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend user access without prior notice if we suspect misuse, violation of these Terms, or unlawful activity. Upon termination, rights to use the services immediately cease.
